The Tiger Mickey Mouse Platy can easily be destinguished from other varieties of Platy by its brilliant Tiger stripes. The beautiful coloration of this Platy, along with its mild nature and fun personality, make it a must-have for beginner enthusiasts. The Tiger Mickey Mouse Platy is hardy and would make a wonderful addition to any passive community aquarium.

The Tiger Mickey Mouse Platy requires an aquarium of at least 10 gallons that is densely planted with hardy plants like Java Fern and Java Moss. Being an omnivore the Tiger Mickey Mouse Platy will eat commercially prepared flaked foods and algae, as well as freeze-dried bloodworms, tubifex, and brine shrimp.

The Tiger Mickey Mouse Platy is a livebearer capable of reproducing at three to four months of age. The fry will most often reach maturity in a community aquarium.
