Overview
The Undulate Triggerfish, also known as the Orangelined Triggerfish or Orangetailed Triggerfish, has an attractive, emerald-green body with yellow-orange vertical stripes.
A 180 gallon or larger aquarium with large pieces of rock to form caves is ideal. It will rearrange the aquarium landscaping and rocks. It vocalizes using a "grunting" sound. It is a hardy fish, but aggressive towards other fish.
The Undulate Triggerfish needs a varied diet of meaty foods including; squid, krill, clams, small fish and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their ever growing teeth.
Approximate Purchase Size: Small: Under 2"; Medium: 2" to 4"; Large: 4" or Higher

I love triggers but these guys are devils! Undulate Triggerfish are awesome fish to watch but do not put them with slower fish. Mine got along well with Damsels but chased my Picasso. He is in a tank by himself now after biting my Leopard Shark a few times. Be careful selecting tankmates and enjoy this fish; they are beautiful!

I just got one for Christmas. It is a beautiful, but very aggressive fish. I keep it alone in a smaller tank with lots of rocks to hide behind.

Very hardy fish but very mean! After 8 months I had to separate him from the tank because he was nipping my lionfish tail and chasing my miniata grouper. He will nip at and possibly eat all snails, smaller fish, and he even bit me. Be careful!

An attractive fish but quite nasty. Will bite you if it can. Will be the boss of the tank in no time, especially when it gets older. Is aftaid of no fish. Even more aggressive then the Queen Trigger. Very hardy.

Beautiful fish, very aggressive but shy. Keeps hiding all the time behind rocks. Will chase down live guppies to feed on, amazing to watch in my 50 gallon tank.

A monster of a fish. Will attack and kill most other fish. Hard to pick compatible tank mates. Eats well but hides alot. Not recommended for most tanks

Love my undulate, he is still shy but not as much as he was. He is in with a panther grouper, 2 nigers and a Picasso and all doing fine. Love triggers. The 2nd Niger is the new guy the rest have been together for almost a year. All will be moving to a 300 Gallon soon.

I love these fish! When they are hungry they swim to the top of the tank. They will eat right out of your hand! They have nice colors, mine are lime green, blue, and yellow. Thank you!
